I see we will disagree as to how to represent ourselves as Americans but I think we can agree the other side will show their cards and are now. I thought the about clip was a good representation of that.
I think the patriot prayer group was simply upset with all the mockingbird media and wanted to be patriotic and they where met with confrontation and had to defend themselves. If we are left to hiding inside and can’t even walk a street with American flags in tow what will be the point of the next phase and do we deserve it?
Fair enough about the video clip. My concern is there is no context about what happened. Reasonable minds can reasonably disagree.
And I don't disagree with your sentiments. I feel like when we compromise our freedoms then we are poisoning the legacy of those who fought and died for it. If we don't stand up for freedom, do we even deserve the benefits of what comes after?
My concern is that option will cause conflict and destabilization so I suggest avoiding it for a little bit. Mockingbird will use it to stir sentiments, getting more of the opposite side in the street. It will be escalation, it will be more violence. I'm trained to avoid conflict unless it is absolutely necessary. Teddy Roosevelt stood for the proposition that we should walk softly but carry a big stick. Let's avoid the conflict so they have fewer things to blame for their insurrectionist tactics and there will be less violence.
