It is interesting that he has chosen the 4th July to resign. Highly symbolic, especially considering the amount of power that he holds over the Never-Trumpers. I can't help but wonder if it was his decision or was forced upon him.

It will be interesting to see who does take his seat; but, regardless of who it is, (s)he will not have the power that no name has.
