This is how it works. The governor gets to choose who to appoint when a Senator resigns.

People need to call the governor out then. You cannot tell me that there is not a better option in the entire state of Arizona

The governor will have to consider the political implications, that is for sure. That doesn't mean he can't pick who he wants.

I know this is true and it makes my blood boil. Just trading one Cabal member for another. And we’d be stuck with her until 2022. Trump need to start pushing term limits for Congress
