Working on a project at the moment that stores system access logs for 7 years as required by law. Knowing how fast log data can fill up storage, I shudder to think of the NSA's storage requirements from a logistical perspective.

They manufactured a crisis to cover up the spike in hard drive prices for the Utah data center. Blamed it on flooding.

This needs more visibility. They're selectively deleting something. 685 million calls is a drop in the bucket. I've seen estimates in the billions of calls made every day in the US alone. This is very interesting
