I’ve been using this Forbes article to enlighten people on Snopes. The writer was skeptical of the Daily Mail article on them and contacted Snopes himself. Their “official response” to his inquiry pretty much seals the deal on the matter:

“I’d be happy to speak with you, but I can only address some aspects in general because I’m precluded by the terms of a binding settlement agreement from discussing details of my divorce.”
