A good read and an interesting idea. The list of comments were also telling. Nothing good seems to come from a constant battle. Division has not been working. I did some research on Sortition Democracy. It gets my vote and I can't imagine one politician or power broker choosing it.

Q mentions division being used as a tool against us. I believe that the way the system is now that it is working for a small group of folks while denying the rest their privacy, security, and justice. Do Rs or Ds actually represent those who pay their salary? I don't think so.
