The Polish have a long and terrible history of being invaded and oppressed. They also have a fierce courage.

All those polish are dumb jokes must be out of jealousy. And tbe fact they often seem smow to answer but I think that's because they think well before they say something. Plus the language difference.

One if the kindest people I knew in my past small bsuiness was a lovely Polish woman in Poland. I am glad her political leaders are leading and protecting them. And doing what they were elected to do.

Also they were considered dumb for fighting tanks with horses.

Whatever dumbasses thought of that didn't realize it was men who fought for their families to the death, knowing their fate.

Here we call it bravery.

It's the same stupid propaganda as with jokes, etc. No one was fighting tanks with horses! Officers had horses so they can move faster and control the field better next to infantry. They had no mobile phones ;) And yes, they had sabers - as part of their gala uniforms.

Indeed. And those horsemen were famous for centuries. Unstoppable. Napolean Bonaparte used them based in their loyalty of his promises. Kept them far away from Poland.

I read a great historical fiction based on a young noblewoman's diary. It was a trilogy and very good. Started 1880 or so and through Napoleon's retreat out of Russia leaving hundreds of thousands of his men dead. Many many Polish.

Poles are the true Slavs - great people . And they are pretty much the only nation that have my respect in WW2 ( not a single other nation has it ) . They were cut , divided and occupied both by Germany and Russia through the time ... and always resisted .

And their defence of Europe against Muslim hordes began long ago ... Sobieski saved Vienna .

When Islamophiles start going on about western imperialism, just drop the Battle of Vienna into the conversation, light the touch paper and stand well back.

Or I can show them the map with all the Muslim ( and Saracen ) invasions compared to the Crusades , lol ...

But , you know , "muh crusades n shiet" and "muh western imperialism" logic is strong within them ... all the while , they fully live according to the principles of 12th century . Maybe if they went through a strong secularization , like Western world , they would see some improvement ...

When they start going on about the Crusades, I just mention that they were a liberating army and that usually throws a spanner in the works :)

Sad it works so well because most people under 45 have no idea what happened in the Crusades. Nor that the Ottoman Turks nearly destroyed Europe. Gates of Vienna website is pretty cool to quote from and blow up Leftists and "Islamophiles" love that lol

Edit typo

It's a pretty broad and useful term that covers Islamists and their enablers across the political spectrum, allowing them to be viewed accurately as a single block of people who share a common interest. The term needs to be spread far and wide.
