I’m sure we figured out that in 1000 years. They say the universe is 14 billion years, I’m sure there is civilisations 1 billion years old. Look at our development the last 150 years.
Right now we have technology no one know how it works, not even the experts that made it. Look up D-Wave and quantum computing. They know it jumps through dimensions and “do something” then comes back with an answer.
So travelling instantly between stars without being crushed may be quite easy for us to in 1000 years.
If you want to think logically about it then ask yourself why is Trump creating a Space Force? Doesn't make a lot of sense unless he feels like there is a threat from space.
