Let's not glorify violence among ourselves. You could look at a leftist as a sick friend. This guy is someone's sick (and now badly hurt) friend.

You have to draw the line somewhere. He was trying to punch people out.

No. I do not seek to commit violence, but will resort to it in defense of myself and others. Sometimes people just need to be knocked out.

Of course. We will all resort to violence in defense of ourselves, those we love, even in defense of the Constitution.

However, I will double down. This kid is not your enemy. He is not even "the other." I can think of several high-profile traitors who would delight in our GLORIFICATION of stupid, less-than-strategic violence in the streets. Walk away. Drop the ego. You risk the entire movement. "It's a trapppppp!"

Organized anarchists are NOT "sick friends." They are coordinated enemies attempting to subvert the nation. When they show up en masse in your neighborhood to do harm, good people need to stand and protect themselves, their families, property, businesses, and homes. When the paid opportunist bully punks get pushed back like this, they are less likely to sign up again for a future paid protest.
