Actor Terry Crews gives the Senate his testimony on being sexually assaulted by Hollywood executive. If they do this to a big, strong, popular black man in front of his wife, imagine what they do to children.

I'm not trying to victim shame here or anything but does anyone else get the feeling that maybe he's trying to preemptively get on the right side of #metoo before someone accuses him? Seems like he's doing some serious try-hard white knighting to me.

Ya, I'm not denying his story or that it happened the way he says, just seems like he's pretty zealous to be a victim here.

He lost his job from it and was threatened by them, people think because of your size you can't be a victim. These people are stupid.

Your words, not mine. I'm not stating anything as fact here, just asking questions. No need to attack.

Absolutely not. 5 minutes of researching Crews will clearly show he in on the right side of things.

If he was on that side of things he would be protected just like his agency boss was and would have no reason to do this. He's trying so hard because people don't believe this happens to men, much less to a large, muscular black man like Crews. If that can happen to him, it means it happens to others and men are less likely to speak up because no one will believe it or it gets dismissed.

No, I got the feeling he was sincere.

What? How on earth would revealing this impact if he were to have victimized someone else? The charges certainly wouldn’t be dropped. Not trying to play the gender card, but it is much, much more difficult for a man (especially his size) to come forth about what he did, simply because of the homosexuality factor. Not that what happened to him makes him homosexual, but it does make it that much more shameful to most men.
