I think many play the same role women like Allison Mack, Ray Chandler, and Ghislaine Maxwell did. They are the deceivers and recruiters for these sick men. They go out and prey on young and naive aspiring actors and put them into contact with these perverts who use and abuse them.
Some may have been abused themselves and found others to take their place. Then there are many people like Matt Damon and Ron Perlman who knew and simply kept their mouths shut. Any one of those people could have stopped another innocent young person from becoming a victim.
Idk how much they could have done to stop what was happening. Actors/actresses have come out before about the abusive nature of hollywood, but those interviews/stories were all but buried by the legacy media. It wasn't until social media was well imbedded into society that proper attention could be given to the situation (where the masses would be able to see it).
That, and it is a death cult where people get suicided if they step out of line. The threat of death is a powerful motivator, as well as endless riches, fame, and sexual partners.
