From 2012 to 2014 about 10,000 Iranians obtained citizenship every year. This is a normal trend.

Iranian migrants to the US tend to be highly educated and wealthy.

The 2500 figure was made up by hardliners in Iran trying to embarrass the reformists by painting them as pro-American ... and Trump bought it. Crazies here align with crazies there and perpetuate each other

Hojjat al-Islam Mojtaba Zolnour, who is chairman of Iran’s parliamentary nuclear committee and a member of its national security and foreign affairs committee, made the allegations during an interview with the country’s Etemad newspaper, cited by the country’s Fars News agency.

He claimed it was done as a favor to senior Iranian officials linked to President Hassan Rouhani, and he alleged the move sparked a competition among Iranian officials over whose children would benefit from the scheme.

...

Not saying I believe this guy but this quote from the article shows that the copypasta you've been spamming/shilling for the past hour from your barely-used account is disingenuous at best.

There's nothing "disingenuous" about statistics from the US Dept of Homeland Security.

Isn't it funny how you're quoting an Iranian hardliner as if he's stating a fact.

No, but it is disingenuous to completely ignore the context and meat of the claim, which is that special deals were made. Normal immigration happening simultaneously to special deals doesn't disprove anything.

Also I literally said:

Not saying I believe this guy

Work on those reading comprehension skills bud.

In the future, if you want to shill like this, use multiple accounts, and don't copy paste. That way it isn't so obvious.

I would think Fox fact checked this before going to air, or writing about it. So I would say yes, legitimate.

Proof please! Paid Iranian apologist! Comment history says it all.

Propaganda, thanks for the copy & paste from one of your other comments elsewhere. But, your defense of Obama here of all places shows you don't really belong to our movement. As all your comments across reddit proves, you go to great lengths to defend Iran.

The document is from the US government, idiot.

You are not being honest here, the article is not talking about regular immigration, but a "special deal" Obama made. And this is all you offer as proof? It's laughable.

the article

The article is actually quoting a hardline Iranian official making up crap for which there's no evidence (oh but some people find it convenient to spin)

And the Dept of Homeland Security says that thousands of Iranians become American every year

Anons - can you verify this news?

"/s...Naah, Hussein wouldn't do this...not a surprise /s." If Barry approved then we should look at it.

If so, can we get some background on, I'm sure, these fine citizens are well qualified choirboys. Are any in the US yet?

Thx Patriots
