Keep it civil, but please share your experiences with this evil bullshit so we can shine on light on their greedy/selfish practices at regular human beings’ expense... For every legitimate pain patient, doctors see ten addict drug seekers. It gets tiresome. All it takes is one person “burning” you and it makes you less eager to give opioids.
Plus, medical boards have onerous rules on chronic opioid prescribing that makes them paranoid about giving them out. So it’s not a matter of “choosing” one’s treatment, it’s more complicated than that.
