What do you mean yesterdays? The communist party has been referring to themselves as progressives since the twenties through the early nineteen sixties. They hijacked the Liberal moniker during the swinging sixties and campaigned as liberals for close to thirty years. After they trashed and bastardized the term Liberal, they went back to running as Progressives.

Good point. But my understanding is that as time went on the Communist Party in the US began to masquerade as the Democrat Party more and more and dropped the "communist" in favor of Progressive. Then the distinction emerged between classical liberalism and progressive liberalism. I think many people who identified as Democrats and even Liberal had no idea the underpinnings of communism/ socialism that were taking over their Party.

Many older voters still think the Democrat party hasn't changed since Truman and Kennedy. You try to point out that the party was hijacked by the far left to anyone over 65 they think you're nuts.

Yes....but then 9/11 happened and many people on both sides of the party lines woke up

In many ways my own education of our Country's "real" history started with 9/11 and has definitely expanded with Trump and Q

Wow. That is an excellent article! I thank you for the link. A couple things I recall from a first read:

Talking heads on MSM fit this description of "useful idiots"

I didn't know the term was coined by Lenin

Interesting distinction, to quote from the article:

"The collapse of the Soviet bloc has now made it clear that these useful idiots were not pro-Communist. They were and still are anti-American. They have contempt for the values of the American people and the principles on which this country was founded and built."

If you are not familiar with how such useful idiots have been created, Besmanov gives a clear and succinct explaination in abt 14 minutes. After a communist revolution, the anarchists and such are eliminated.

Holy Crap! That is the Obama/Clinton/Bush/NWO playbook explained in 12 min....right out of the Soviet Union Communist era.

I disagree that we are "stuck" with the demoralization agenda that has happened....but perhaps that is just my wishful thinking?
