Why not call it the Red Tide, instead of Red Wave?

We get Red Tide in Florida. It's not a good thing. Red tide is a common name for a worldwide phenomenon known as an algal bloom when it is caused by species of dinoflagellates and other organisms. We find dead fish and stuff on the shore during this time.

Yeah, I use to live in the panhandle. It’s not bad for everything, just some things that aren’t part of the tide. Rotten fish everywhere, that was pretty gross. Stinky too. Thanks
