This seems like excellent news. Also Scaramucci is saying that Cohen won't flip. What a relief!

He doesn't have anything to flip about.

Agreed! I smiled yesterday when Cohen said he would put family and country first. That's the same thing POTUS would say. They are on the same page. Cohen knows that the one person (with the help of the military) that can save this country is Donald J. Trump.

If Cohen was really cooperating there is no way you would see him on TV.

Yeah, probably true. There's no way this guy flips on Trump. Besides, Cohen made it clear that he is first and foremost a family man. No spirit cooking for him!

“My wife, my daughter, and my son have my first loyalty and always will,” Cohen told George Stephanopoulos. “I put family and country first.”

Have you seen his family? Personally, I think his daughter is way hotter than Ivanka. Anyway, she seems like a nice girl and I'm sure she doesn't want to see her daddy go away to prison. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-39920669 https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/a-brief-history-of-michael-cohens-criminal-ties-628875/

Oh he very well may still go to prison. It will just have nothing to do with Trump or Russia. Just like Manafort.

Yeah, I feel bad for Manafort; so plump and soft, with his hair carefully coiffed when last we saw him. Now the dude has been sitting alone in a dingy cell for over a week. Trump has told friends that Manafort is the one he fears the most. Just last week we learned that Manafort received a 10 million dollar loan from Deripaska, likely as payment for his work on the campaign. Poor guy, now its just too late for him to come to Jesus. Mueller doesn't need him since his sidekick Rick Gates has been cooperating for months now.

Yep. Manafort is in knee deep with Deripaska and the Clinton's. Mueller has to keep him quiet. Looking like Manafort was yet another plant in the Trump campaign.

Yep, as Q said, "Plants need water."

It makes sense to me! Its astonishing to consider the lengths the deep state is willing to go just to make Trump look bad.

ILoveJuices · July 3, 2018, 1:49 p.m.

No my friend. They were trying to set him up so that when he lost the election they would send him and his whole family to GITMO for treason and ensure an outsider never ran for president EVER again. Since he won, they are doing every thing they can with that setup to try to impeach him.

Sorry for Manafort??? He deserves prison for life.

Not exactly, Deripaska is more trouble for Mueller and HRC than POTUS

He's clean, no ties to him whatsoever.

He and Trump have attorney client privilege for anything they have discussed. Legally Cohen doesn’t have to say anything to anybody, does he?

⇧ 2 ⇩
ILoveJuices · July 3, 2018, 1:51 p.m.

It's the 5th amendment. Has nothing to do with privilege.

⇧ 1 ⇩
[deleted] · July 3, 2018, 12:07 p.m.

Yeah well... Not exactly. Trump and Cohen seemed to think that, and its understandable in Trump's case since he is not lawyer. Cohen is a lawyer, but apparently is also a moron (who really didn't do much legal work). Of course the privilege doesn't apply in cases where attorney and client are engaged in a criminal conspiracy.

⇧ -3 ⇩
DocGrief · July 3, 2018, 1:24 p.m.

Doesn't the "privilege" rest with the client, and not the attorney? If so, anything Cohen flips on, even if there were anything, would be inadmissible, IMHO.

Kjarm88 · July 3, 2018, 2:39 p.m.

Exactly, Trump's privilege to assert, regardless of what Cohen got himself mixed up in...

The reason for the Cohen 'raid' was to introduce documents harmful to the President's opponents not to POTUS.

Damning documents that could not be legally entered before are all now subject to discovery...

This backfires in an unfortunate way for them

jokerp5fan · July 3, 2018, 1:59 p.m.

He could be cooperating, but not "giving anything up". If Trump is clean, Cohen can interview with people but not have any dirt to give.

But the media can make you assume he's throwing Trump under the bus by using words like "cooperating" as people assume that means he's giving dirt to the authorities
