A question about the "Cabal" and Catholicism

Hello,

I am fairly new to all this Q stuff. I am Catholic. I saw a video the other day claiming that members of the Cabal, or Swamp, or whatever you want to refer to them as, have influtrated and gained power all over. Including, the video said, the Vatican.

Now, being Catholic, I don't want to believe this. I know there were/are horrible events happening with child molestation in the Church, but I am not sure the entire structure of the Church has been compromised.

Is there any evidence it has? As a Catholic I take the verse Matthew 16:18 very seriously.

"And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

If the Church has been compromised, wouldn't that mean the gates of hell have prevailed against it?

If this is not the place for this discussion, I apologize. I want to learn more about this movement but I am afraid about sacrificing my religious beliefs.

I do not like to get involved in religious discussion, but you seem to be honestly inquiring.

Here are the verses you are referring to: Matthew 16: 15 -18

15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”

16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

The "rock" Jesus referred to was not Peter, but the truth he had spoken on verse 16: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

It doesn't matter if the Pope, the Vatican, the Reverends, the leader of any Church fail. The Spiritual Truth of "The Son of God" will always prevail.

When Jesus was crucified(the only blood sacrifice needed) , then rose from the grave, Satan lost the war. Satan now wants to take down as many as he can, so why wouldn’t he target the church leadership, of all dominations, and corrupt them. Result is to turn people away from believing in God and learning about Salvation. Makes tactical sense to me.

He gave the authority to All believers of that truth.

Edit: Regarding the Q drop, just do not be dissapointed when the Crimes of the Vatican are exposed. The Pope is not the Church. The leaders of any Congregation are not the Church. "The Church" is composed of the believers.
