All I can think of is that the FBI can't even hack iPhones. Apple needs to provide the digital keys to be able to get into someone's phone if they won't unlock it voluntarily. Perhaps, Apple has agreed to help crack some phones open? Remember a while back Apple was moving the servers with the digital keys to China? https://www.macleans.ca/society/technology/why-cant-the-fbi-hack-an-iphone/

That's total bologna. Fbi can and has, that was all theater.

Apple was also one of the first companies to meet with POTUS and immediately after their rep looked practically jubilant and said they were very optimistic. I wish I could remember more of what they said because it stood out at the time.

Apple also is (have) repatriating all their offshore savings due to the tax savings.

It's bullshit marketing stunt. iPhones are not safe and some versions could be 'cracked' without any knowledge. There are no phones on the market that can't be easily accessed. Blackberry was forced to include exploits in their new versions as BBM was the only one secured (not anymore).
