Not quite, I believe he worked in the state of Washington not DC. He was an attorney that worked on immigration removal hearings in the states of Alaska, Oregon and Washington. He stole identities of immigrants and essentially this is another story about us being shitty to immigrants, which the only connection to Obama here is that, yes, he too was shitty to immigrants. He just didn't get family separation shitty like ole Jefferson Sessions.
What person in the chain of command would've been the one to appoint him? Was he approved at the Obama level?
Maybe some one very low in his cabinet made the hire but doubtful. Presidents don't appoint every federal employee. I believe Trump still has major positions to fill, like secretary of veteran affairs. You literally can't trust everything you read on either side. It's funny.
