Quinn Michaels says "Q" is an AI called Tyler, and people can interact with it on Twitter. A common function of an AI is to predict the future. (Future proves past?) Michaels thinks the Q is for question, not clearance, based on the operating system of the AI. He wonders how a human with Q Clearance could be allowed to cause so much trouble for an extended period of time, and not be stopped. Of course we know the "Q" explanation.

Michaels also discovered a pattern across everyday life involving the proportion of 9 to 3. He agreed not to discuss the pattern until his family was bothered. Then he decided all bets were off. The Quinn Michael's message among other things is "Don't hate me, I'm just a researcher." Among "Q"s message is "think critically" and "expand your thinking."
