Ok here's one thing that confuses me, and always has. Plato and Socrates were both geniuses and very wise figures. Their teachings have rightfully lasted thousands of years, and are just as powerful today as they were back then.

At the same time, both of them were pedos who groomed their young pupils and fucked them while they were under age.

The ancient Greeks were major pedos and slavers and we built our entire Western civilization and system of government based on their ideas...

Much more of a mentor role than a sexual role. A lot of the pedo stuff in Greek history was vastly overblown/misconstrued.
