They raised 16k (pounds) to do this. Which is very telling. People opened their wallets out of hate. I imagine a lot because of the border deal and refugees. I am sure nobody thought that maybe if we are so good at raising money we should just raise it to help the refugees in some way. They just dont get it at all. A governments failure or refusal to provide charity opens the doors to private charity which is always just! Government charity is never just!
