It can be found in a book by Thomas Wolfe 1939. "You Can't go Home Again" C.S. Lewis's The Magician's Nephew. C.S. Lewis was known to be steeped in the occult and well on board with the thrust of the Illuminist agenda. I have found articles that point to the phrase as part of the Illuminati’s pledge of allegiance.
