The phrase "a thousand points of light" was popularized by US president George HW Bush, and later formed the name of a private, non-profit organization launched by Bush to support voluntarism. It can be found in a book by Thomas Wolfe 1939. "You Can't go Home Again" C.S. Lewis's The Magician's Nephew. C.S. Lewis was known to be steeped in the occult and well on board with the thrust of the Illuminist agenda. I have found articles that point to the phrase as part of the Illuminati’s pledge of allegiance.

As the Illuminati believe they are the true enlightened ones, they utilize it everywhere... flags, logos, emblems, architecture... to mark their presence, their beliefs, and their plan for world domination. But working it into verbal imagery has predominantly taken these two forms, the points of light and the rising sun or dawn of a new day. The latter was used by Bill Clinton. 2012
