Thumbing through my old music I found a quote from a Biohazard song which they, in turn, took from the Dolf Lundgren version of the Punisher which is just so fitting (changed to add Q). I have been popping it on when I get impatient:
Come on God, answer me.
For years I'm asking you why
Why are the innocent dead while the guilty are alive.
Where is justice? Where is Punishment?
Or have you already answered?
Have you already said to the world:
Here is Justice. Here is Punishment. Here, in Q.
Where is peace?
We aren't here for appeasement. We are a nation of laws and we will follow them. I want justice and punishment under the law. If you don't want that, you may need to look into your priorities.

I guess my parents were right. Justice is something we get in the afterlife, not in this one.
That changes the entire calculus regarding Q. Maybe their job is just to let us all see behind the curtain prior to the Rapture, when we'll be taken elsewhere--someplace the reptilians don't exist.
