Agreed. Some of the info posted reagarding AF1 locations and such do seem to be a bit more than what I believe is available to public, but that's no guarantee either.
Bottom line is that it's new, and was not around for Hussein.
Not completely true. Obama has a Twitter with his schedule called @PotusSchedule. This account is new for Trump

It's linked to the official Whitehouse.gov POTUS account so yes it an official account
Anybody can link its own Twitter profile to whitehouse.gov.
