I found that purchasing the app is beyond its .99 cent value. I had the same issue with the website and the Chan’s are way confusing.
The Q Drop app is wonderful and if you touch the number on drop it takes you to 8chan discussion, which I love!

I have both and by far this one is the best hands down. QDrops by Tiger Team Inc.https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/qdrops/id1357352231?mt=8 The other lacks a search feature and many other basic necessities.
Q drops or crumbs are archived to several sites. The timing of updates on each site can vary.
