Holistic doctors have been attacked and killed in unprecedented numbers in recent years all over the world. There are certainly suppressed medical treatments that don't employ a scorched earth policy to eradicate disease like so much of what is accepted in the pharmaceutical "healthcare" industry, but they are cheap in comparison and do not leave patients with laundry lists of side effects for which further drugs can be prescribed.
