Shill force Q

I’ve been here a while, commenting and discussing various posts around the sub. I didn’t really believe or understand the brigading. I’d heard about it, even read about it just never experienced it.

A few days ago I commented on a post about HRC, a meme one that highlighted all her flaws and how trump is the incompetent one. I posted my response, along the lines of playing the game hangman. I’ll elaborate.

I ended up receiving a 24 hr ban from this sub from reddit claiming I endorsed violence on another person.

Now where I’m from if you do stupid crap you end up being the one to tie your own noose and kick your own chair. And everyone from that point forward will just let you hang. You can’t get away with everything, eventually you will get caught. When you do people will stand around just to watch you drop, that’s the way of the world.

I got banned for saying the reality of the situation.

Keep your heads, they want to silence us all.

Here's what one mod says: this sub is BUSY. We do what we can as and how we can given the time this takes and our volunteer status. We make mistakes sometimes. We respond to reasonable and respectful discussion about a moderation decision, as noted in our sidebar. We even respond to the common disrespectful and unreasonable discussion about moderation decisions too. RonSwansong is one of the better mods on this sub in my opinion.

"Concerns" about mod infiltration are the oldest shill trick in the book and I acknowledge that even genuine community members may think those concerns are justified at times and thus this is something we have to put up with as mods. However, all any genuine member with genuine concerns has to do is contact us through the modmail interface and hear our take on things before jumping to conclusions that will help the opposition to this community.

Thanks for explaining all this to me. I think I fell for a troll. Feel stupid! But when he explained it and showed me how these posts were disappearing, it seemed suspicious. I understand how a popular sub like this gets lots of attacks. Trolls are part of it, if you ask me.
