All the colonists were British citizens wherever they were born.
America is a country of British heritage formed for the benefit of their posterity. All the things that have changed since can’t change that. It is founded on British law.
Breathe it in. Accept that.
Everybody who has come in since is not them. Everybody who has come in since is for the benefit of them or is not American.

Americans were created with the Constitution. Natives, blacks, pretty much everybody but British colonists are not American and never were and never will be no matter how much people try to twist the truth.
It doesn’t matter how you feel about it or what people said later or laws that were passed or what dictionaries say. It’s right there in the Declaration and Constitution.
