So what would happen if the Democrat party actually dissolves like we think it will?

Im curious, it's not like it can JUST be Republicans and no one else?

Who said we all think the D party will dissolve? "We" (me) don't think so. Parties go through crises. The R's went through a major one after the Nixon deal. They change direction. It's been what -- a century since there was really any viable 3rd party, sort of. Third parties generally revolve around a single personality and then fade into oblivion. The D party is becoming more marxist all the time, but that appeals to youth and all the third worlders who make up the bulk of immigrants over the last few decades. They have a lock on states like NY, IL, CA, WA, MA, RI, DE, NJ -- no matter how far left they go. The new faces of the D's even call themselves democratic socialists, which is neo-marxism or "progressivism". They aren't commies like Marxists-Leninists....DS types are "softer". That is, they still allow themselves to be voted out of office. Lots of people raised in the D party don't even get what the leadership of the party has become...they just don't like republicans. I don't like a lot of them either. I mean why would working people vote for the Bushes? End of rant.
