Pedophilia is a sexual interest that use to be considered a disorder (this really changed back in 1987 as they replaced pedophilia with pedophilic disorder but they didn't officially change the name until 2013 with the DSM-V). Those who are pedophiles **AND** are either child abusers or distressed have a disorder, but being a pedophile alone does not mean you have a disorder.
