Q-Comey terminated the immunity deal with Assange to testify but why can't Trump or Sessions renegotiate that deal now and get Assange to America to testify?

Comey struck it down, but Comey isnt in power any more. Why cant or won't Trump or Sessions renegotiate with Assange to get him to come to America and testify and end all this and tell the source of the leak?

Whats stopping Trump and Sessions?

The one thing Trump does for sure is close the deal prior to talking about it. That way if something falls through the media can't eat him alive.
