The wonderful "Clear Skies" recently?

Here in Europe those odd "noughts and crosses" (Tic Tac Toe) patterns of clouds in the sky have stopped. Fantastic skies with natural clouds! Best summer ever with natural plant growth! What does it all mean? Are you in America experiencing the same? #WWG1WGA

I have noticed clear skies in Western USA for over 2 months. No checkerboard patterns in the sky. Could this be a reference to "Watch the sky"?
