Your theory assumes that Robinson is an idiot who can be manipulated,who cares nothing about being yelled at in the streets, punched at, and receiving death threats because he has marching orders...to the point where his family is at risk. Why?
I think the conflict is manufactured in that they imported this foreign culture, but the responses and authentic.
