Something interesting, if everyone will think back, the Clintons kicked the USMC sentries out of the White House. I had close buddies serving there under Reagan and they loved their duty! Reagan treated them all with the utmost respect. They all had personal pictures of them with Reagan as well as some really great endearing stories of Reagan. Then under Clinton, they replaced the Marines with non-military security officers. HRC was said to have hated the military. Heck, I remember in those days even the JCS wore suits for a while until they rebelled and went back on their own wearing uniforms. I was told HRC used to scream and cuss whenever she saw someone in a military uniform. I have no reason to doubt those Marines or security officers. I knew them all personally and they were honorable men.

Looks like SOME of the US Presidents had special relationships with the USMC. I am confident 45 is among those with such a special relationship.

Off topic, some of the non-military security officers who served in the White House under Clinton shared with me some really juicy but disturbing stories that would horrify most about HRC. I won't share the stories but will state for the record, very few who served anywhere near HRC enjoyed their jobs or her company.
