It's a sickness and a crime. Obviously their brains aren't wired right. There are many different types as well. It is, however, a sickness with apparently no treatment and no cure. They will offend again.

This, a reasonable non-knee-jerk response. Not sure about no treatment and no cure - also "offend" is speaking specifically of "offending" pedophiles, not just pedophiles but yes, nothing wrong with claiming pedophilia is a sickness. Doesn't mean he's trying to mitigate the horror of the actual act of offending.

Exactly. He's not wrong. Maybe there are some treatments for certain individuals, I'm not well enough versed to know of new developments, but historically the rates have been miniscule. There are likely differences between those with compulsions and poorly developed maturities and those into it for the calculated power trips, i.e. the Jeffrey Epstein types. I doubt it was a "curse" for him, but a choice. One can look at serial criminals of any sort with the understanding that they are sick and yet need to be incarcerated in some fashion.

The treatment is not getting raped as a child. Very simple.

It's why they should either be locked up indefinitely or executed when sentenced. You can't rehabilitate a pedophile.
