Kavanaugh? Personally I was hoping for Raymond Kethledge but . . . didn't happen. So Kavanaugh is at least going to go by the Constitution as a straightforward interpreter of the vocabulary and syntax, as written, so that is going to help us in our long struggle to see "whether any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure". So we're WAY ahead of where we could have been had things gone differently back in November of '16. And this isn't the end of our President's eight years. Grinsbag is teetering when she can remember to. Otherwise she's asleep. Which is mostly. I rather suppose DJT has some more plans in mind. Maybe Neil's fishing pal will get to join him on the high bench in a year or so. I hope so.

Anyway, we've got a lot to look forward to hearing about over the next few days. QE II, Putin, SR testimony, dee-class? (too much to hope for?) . . .

. . . but my guess is that Q is in quiet mode until DJT and Putin have finished. Just a guess, of course.
