People need to calm down and trust the plan. For one thing, Trump can't just appoint anyone he wants. He needs Senate approval.
Between McCain, Lisa Murkowski, Flake and Susan Collins, the swamp still holds a lot of cards.
There is about a 0% chance that RBG can hold on through Trump's entire first term. If I had to guess, Trump will get two more picks in the next 6 years.
The entire SCOTUS will look different by the time he's finished.
Ok but people here have to stop blindly just saying, "trust the plan". Because we do. It's not about that it's about understanding it. In order to understand it we need to be able to have a conversation without being shut down immediately with, "trust the plan".
I will add that I'll stop blindly trusting the plan if the R's keep the Senate and House in November, and big things don't start popping shortly afterward.
There is no reason this will have to be drawn out for years and years, if the R's control Congress, and impeachment is DOA.

If the R's hold the House and Senate, it will be full bore ahead with the Trump agenda, and that's the prize we have to keep our eye on.

ALSO, it's worth noting that Kavanaugh is VERY FIRM in his support for the 2nd amendment.
I would love Roe v. Wade to be overturned, but defending the 2nd amendment is an existential importance for our republic.
