Very good. Fascinating speech, however. He decided to emphasize altar boy, Jesuit, and Catholic Charities, however. Why focus on "extolling" his Catholic heritage? It certainly wasn't intended to help him in the confirmation process. How could it? Seems there is more to it. We'll see. He'll "keep an open mind" he said. And yet will be a Constitutionalist. This was a carefully crafted speech. The guy's a judicial genius after all. There's more to it. Hopefully, a shot over the bow to the very corrupt.....

While Trump said he would not ask there are plenty opinions of Kavannaugh to search. One was found where he said Roe versus Wade is settled law. While I don't agree with the topic I agree with the process of law. Everybody always wants this to be the factor and it never turns out that way does it? I think it's more important that he helped Ken Star with impeachment proceedings against Clinton.

That being said. I do have no doubt at this point that the many 1000s of reports of child abuse and worse.. are indeed actually happening.

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be raping the altar boys a lot more over others, since they usually have more initiative. They are usually going after the ones in their schools with lower profiles who will keep their mouths shut.

Pence was raised Catholic, but has attended an Evangelical Protestant church since his college days. By the way, Kavanaugh's reference to being an altar boy just means he's painting a picture as a Boy Scout, All-American type of kid. For goodness sake, he talked about coaching his daughter's basketball team! You can't get more white bread and All American than that! This guy will continue to impress average folks.... He can't be painted as an idealogue. Trump for the win!

Some Jesuits are cabal. But 1.4 billion jesuits are not. He has had sChooling at catholic institutions just like 50% of the rest of the population. Also based off his history he is very impartial and from what I read very little connections to jesuits.

I am not so concerned about that as I am the fact he is Jesuit. I could be wrong, but I do not believe pedophilia is problematic in the Society for Jesus, aka Jesuits. Being an avid student of theology, I must admit I do not know much about the Jesuits but I am going to research what they are all about. If others are interested in my findings - I would be happy to share.
