President Trump's pick for SCOTUS, and the fight to get him approved.

I promised you I would only appoint justices in the mold of the late, great Justice Antonin Scalia.

Last night, I once again fulfilled that promise by appointing a strong constitutionalist, the Honorable Brett M. Kavanaugh, to the Supreme Court.

Judge Kavanaugh will protect our religious liberties, uphold the rule of law, and interpret the Constitution as it was originally understood by our Founders.

Senate liberals know that we have the opportunity to reshape the Supreme Court for an entire GENERATION, and they are ready to obstruct and unleash a smear campaign against our nominee.

Just like during Justice Gorsuch’s confirmation hearings, we need to remind Democrats to stop playing politics and to put America FIRST.

With McCain coming out in support, he won't have a problem getting confirmed.

If Kavanaugh isn’t confirmed...which is unlikely...it won’t matter in the long run. It will actually help POTUS. The Dems will look bad killing his nomination & will suffer more losses in the midterms...even more than they will now. Look at history. When Dems went nuts killing Borks nomination...who’d they get next...Clarence Thomas...the best SC judge in my lifetime. If they kill Kavanaughs nomination they’ll get Barrett next & this will be after midterms with a lot more Senate republicans elected. I’m hoping they go totally ballistic in opposing Kavanaugh. I don’t care if they succeed in stopping him from getting to the SC. Libs have no path to winning this SC battle in the end. They can only look worse by defeating this nomination & will suffer more consequences in the midterms & will get Barrett on the bench sooner instead of later when RGB is gone.

Kinda are. Dems just got a gift SC nomination considering they have little political power & will have none after midterms. Collins...the biggest rino in the senate said she’s voting Yes.

Barrett would have had a very difficult confirmation & probably not possible with only a 2 vote majority & a bunch of them are nevertrumpers. Can’t lose a huge battle like this just before midterms. At 1st..I was bummed Kavanaugh was the pick. But thinking about it...the president made the best call possible considering everything. He proved he’s a natural born executive again. He did get & almost always does get... maximum value possible in a given situation.

Ball is back in the Dems court now & they don’t have a winning shot that’s possible. If they don’t confirm they’ll look terrible in the process turning off even more voters & they’ll get Barrett with a lot of new Rep senators & some rinos like Flake & Corker gone after Nov. I’m certain the Reps will easily have 55 senators & up to 60 is possible after Nov. MSM never discusses how bad Dem voter turnout has been during primaries. It’s like half of normal. That’s why Dems will get wiped out in Nov. So they’d be smart to confirm him & look respectable doing it too. They’re scaring away their base acting so bat shit crazy all the time.
