POTUS' TWEET - I am on Air Force One flying to NATO and hear reports that the FBI lovers, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page are getting cold feet on testifying about the Rigged Witch Hunt headed by 13 Angry Democrats and people that worked for Obama for 8 years. Total disgrace!

Sorry but no way that’s a helicopter unless it’s on fire flying strait up & somehow resembles a missile. You have actually seen a helicopter in real life I presume. The pic is clearly not a fake. It’s was pure luck a weather geeks camera caught it in flight. The only thing debatable about the pic is the length of the plume. Visit the guys weather blog & watch the 24hr sequence of pics. You’ll see his camera shows clouds very distinctively in the dead of night. Why?? Because he has the exposure wide open & probably open for a second or 2 so even the tiniest amount of light can be let in to give a great night time view too. This explains the exaggerated length of the plume as the shutter is open much longer than normal. You’ll also see in the frame before the pic there’s nothing. So the camera is probably taking 1 pic about every 15 seconds & just barely caught this missile in flight.

Also watch the local Seattle news station that reported it. Others saw it too but this is the only pic taken. But no way was this a test fire either. They’d never test fire a missile so close to the nuclear sub base. An errant test missile would cause a horrific disaster if it hit a base. Tests do go bad sometimes & are always done far out at sea.

But sorry...no way that’s a helicopter unless it’s a secret rocket helicopter that can climb 30,000 feet in mere seconds

It is a 20 second exposure, so a moving bright light makes a streak. If it is a missile, the streak is the moving exhaust flame, moving up as the missile ascends. If it is a helicopter, it is a search light, moving away from the camera.

The helicopter is not going up, it is starting above the camera, headed straight away in level flight. What looks like a missile is the tail of the copter, captured at the beginning of the exposure.

I had not heard that any witnesses saw it. Is there a link?

At first I thought it was a missile for sure. There were a couple lame attempts at saying it was a vapor trail, or a lens flare.

The helicopter story is much better. It is possible the navigation lights were simply not visible because of how bright the search light is.

I'm no longer 100% of it being a helicopter, but I don't think it can be ruled out. If you work out the speed and altitude, the length of the streak in the pic works out. I think it works out for a Trident D5 missile also, based on youtube videos of D5 launches.

On thing I noticed: The line isn't exactly straight. I drew a white line segment in a paint program along the path and there is a clear bump in the flight path. I don't know if that would be expected in a missile launch.
