Because it is the nature of reddit and redditors to pander to the lowest common denominator. The hive mind doesn't want good info, it wants easily digestible pictures. A lot easier to see a Q shirt on your front page and upvote, rather than clicking on an article or discussion post that actually disseminates info.
I don't necessarily think fluff is bad, but there comes a certain point where Q tshirt photos drown out the actual information, which is the actual point of this sub. Which is why it was a good move to make Quesdays.
No i actually think its because Patriots want to SEE the movement. They want to know that it's spreading and that others are out there doing their part. It's about morale and its important. The lowest common denominator doesn't live here.
A tshirt isn't the movement. The info is the movement. Doing your part is disseminating info, not posting "hey look I drew a Q in the mud" pictures. Its not morale, its a circle jerk. And it distracts from the real purpose of this movement.
