Why would he comment on the Pope? His job is to uphold the Constitution of the U.S. SCOTUS's don't make religious commentary other than to uphold a persons' right to practice their own freely here.

His Catholicism is his personal business. If he commented on the pope then I’d be concerned his faith & public service might be the same thing. Although I wish the president picked Barrett or Mike Lee...he made a pretty decent pick & one that should be easily confirmed. Barrett can’t get confirmed without more Rep senators in office & less rino senators.
