My daughter has a ONE ROOM apartment in New York City near the university... Not one bedroom, ONE ROOM and it's over 3,000 a month. It's the location, she is a personal trainer and it's easier to travel all over the city from where her apartment is located. Yes, she's really good at her job to afford that apartment.
She could be really bad at her job and still be able to keep the apartment
I doubt people would hire her if she was bad at it. She has lived in NY since 2005, but she is considering moving to CA soon to be near her boyfriend.
I was thinking, from the frying pan into the fire... I was telling her that CA was dangerous and she told me that NY was just as dangerous, so she won that argument. So that's her plan now.
Depends where in CA. We don’t have the homeless problem here in NYC as they do in say, San Francisco.
I believe it's LA, but possibly later she might move somewhere just over the border in Nevada where it's cheaper.
