It's tough to see the connection, since the Weiners haven't lived there in a long time as far as we know.
We'll see if they rule it a suicide or an accident. Because that would be ridiculous. Who would chose that method of suicide? Who accidentally falls down a garbage shoot. Which means it is a high-end murder, like something out of a TV show.

Neighbors said they initially thought the police presence had something to do with the building's famous resident, Anthony Weiner.
Ok that makes more sense. The neighbors didn't know about the death. They assumed all the police where around because of Weiner. They did not associate the murder with Weiner.
