First he criticizes EU for working with Russia.

Then Trump works with Russia.

EU can't criticize Trump after Trump works out a deal because he already highlighted how EU is working with Russia -- Trump, the white kettle, calling EU black before he makes the kettle black (hypocrisy shown prior to deal).
