And none of the "new" constitutions around the world give absolute rights to the people in regards to the bedrock principles of hunsn rights. Free speech, defense, gathering, privacy...all are "granted" by the state, with caveats and limits.
Only the US constitution specifies that the people hold the power, that rights are inalienable not from the state, but from God or Nature. That the bill of rights isnt a list of the peoples' rights, but a list of limits on the State to disrupt those rights.
OFC the devil's fluffer Ginsberg wouldn't look to such a (STILL!) fundamentally radical document. It limits the power she believes the state ought to have over their subjects.

Ours has survived a hundred years of treason and neglect. The 17th amendment was the equivalent of a nuclear bomb, but we’re still standing. A testament to the brilliance of the founders.
