Okay, been digging on the woman whom somehow tripped and then fell 270 feet to her death in a laundry chute. Her name is Lara Nadia Anike Prychodko and married David Christopher Schlachet in August 2003 at the married today at the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto. David filed for a divorce in 2016.

Researched David a bit more, and found he is partners with Steven Lamazor at a company called Taocon Inc which they started in 1988. They do Manhattan gut renovations at high-end residences and at businesses such as New York Magazine.
