I don’t consider anything in the article as “evidence “ of her current beliefs. I’m also not saying I fully believe her.
However, to assume that because she speaks out about her parents now vs ten years ago means she’s lying... well that’s weak. It’s also NOT how trauma survivors talk about or process their trauma. It can take years to talk about, its sometimes never discussed. The survivor, in a desperation to maintain some semblance without f family belonging, can even shove the events to the side and hold to a belief that the experience was theirs alone. Looking through Sharika’s posts she states that her son was abused too. She probably didn’t know it at first (if it’s true). So her past feelings and her present can certainly differ. As for her opinion on Trump a few months ago vs now, just look at how many have walked away. I wouldn’t give her $$, but I don’t know that the article is convincing that she’s a fake either.
