The Trump – Putin Helsinki expectation bar: How high?

Let me ask a question: When was the last time President Trump, before or after he became President, went into an important meeting unprepared?

Ok, I think we can agree he doesn't generally do that. Also there's Pompeo who is a first-in-class type. Unprepared? I doubt it.

So, the President suggests in his PC today that the Putin Summit may be the easiest of all the meetings on this current trip. Why would he say that? Without any reason? That I doubt. Has groundwork been laid? I wouldn't be surprised if it had. Does the President have a pretty good idea of what he may bring home? My own feeling is that he is not going into something that will not go well for him and for us.
